Description

This artifact is a well-preserved Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) flagpole finial from the period. Measuring approximately 10 inches in height and 5¾ inches in width, the piece exhibits strong definition and retains its original form. The base is stamped with the RZM designation “M3/46/37,” indicating production under the regulated system for official insignia.

The Deutsche Arbeitsfront was established as the state-controlled labor organization, replacing independent trade unions and integrating workers into a centralized structure. Objects such as this finial served as ceremonial identifiers, representing organizational presence and authority.

Today, artifacts of this type offer insight into the institutional framework of labor organization and the broader use of symbolism within state-sponsored structures during this era.
