Description
Here is a one of a kind NSRL (Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen) standard that measures 54″ x 46″. The NSRL was the German League of the Reich for Physical Exercise. Pictures don’t do this example justice. The NSRL eagle logo is constructed with raised stitching (very different from the average printed NSRL flags). It’s in spectacular condition with one nip (see picture) and a very slight pull. All of the mounting hardware is perfectly in tact. The corner patches are beautifully chain stitched and read “Gau XI St. Hub. Schützenges. Hemmersbach gegr. 1875”. This has to be one of the most impressive examples that I’ve come across.
