Here’s a WW2 British Air Raid Whistle – Used by the civil defense, home front wardens. ARP stands for Air Raid Precautions. During WW2, the home front wardens would ensure everyone had their windows covered during the blackouts making it more difficult for the Luftwaffe to find their targets. The manufacturer is J Hudson of Barr Street, Birmingham.
