Description

Here is one of Adolf Hitler’s personal linen tablecloth runners with his embroidered monogram.  This particular example was obtained from the Dr. Mark Griffith collection, which he obtained directly from a 45th infantry division veteran who acquired it.  Griffith wrote several books detailing Hitler’s personal items brought home by US veterans.  It’s purported that this cloth was used at the Fuherebau.  The runner measures 19″ x 39″ in size and is in incredible shape for being 80+ years old.  The pattern found on this tablecloth is the same floral design that was used with his formal napkins .  There is a very light discoloration in the cloth which were difficult to capture on a photograph (see picture).
